Naming, visual identity framework and digital design for the library newsletter.
Various implementations of the main word mark
New brand identity system for the upcoming newsletter had to serve as a visual continuation of an already implemented branding for the library and thus the design draws the main inspiration from it — adopting several design aspects and primary colour palette, only this time replacing bright white with a more dimmed cream hue which is visibly easier on the eyes. The library is situated on the third floor (“třetí patro”) of the historical archbishopric building — the title of the newsletter playfully hints at its location.

Identity is built around an incisive variable word mark set in slightly modified version of Plaax which is also used as a primary typeface. Rather than using a phonetic spelling, the logotype deploys a bold number 3 to better emphasise the meaning.

A robust logotype accompanied by the refined typography sets newsletter’s overall visual tone. Each issue has its own theme and different colour palette which mirrors through the header logo and a bold frame stretched around its format.
