Visual identity and brand refresh for the one of the biggest independent art review platforms.
Brand refresh for the one of the biggest independent art review platforms. Publishing reviews, news reports and interviews on a daily basis, institution focuses mainly on art dance forms, new circus or non–verbal theatre. Brand redesign included all–new visual language and a new custom font — Graphik by Commercial Type — simple, functional and very straightforward sans serif. The visual identity and all of its aspects, such as article previews, posters or various banners, is built on a pronounced typography and bold photographs. It must be able to cover all the bases visually but also functionally, since the project is not only about dance anymore.

Besides the obvious, redesign also included several custom designed layouts for social media posts based on the same visual language — adopting the quotation mark element throughout the identity alongside with Roslindale Text as a secondary font for more opinion–oriented texts like essays and comments.
